At Élevage des Grattes, Ludovic Renaud and his partner Guillaume are modernizing their family farm by integrating a feeding robot, the BouMatic Shuttle Eco. The goal: to provide fresh and precise rations to the cows, while improving efficiency and quality of life for the farmers.
For ten years, Ludovic has been working on the family farm that his father built. With Guillaume, who initially joined as a worker before becoming a partner, they wanted to take on a challenge: modernize certain tasks while preserving the herd’s traditional know-how and natural rhythm.
After exploring different systems during visits to other farms, they chose the Shuttle Eco, an autonomous robot capable of delivering rations consistently and accurately. For them, it’s not just about technology: it’s a tool that allows the cows to receive fresh, uniform feed throughout the day, while reducing the daily workload for the farmers.
