Due to the growth of our company, we are looking for a 'District Technical Manager' who will be responsible for supporting dealers at home and abroad.

Technician for Automatic Milking System (Robot Milking) and Conventional Milking System

You provide technical support to our customers, dealers and dairy farmers with the operation of the installations, their uses and the maintenance of our products. In particular, you assist our dealer customers in their region when installing, commissioning or maintaining milking systems and automation components. You ensure the training of our dealer employees and the end users. You participate in the development of BouMatic technology and new product equipment.

Work experience must include previous Technical Support duties or equivalent.

Job Knowledge

Must be familiar with dairy farm operations and management and a variety of cross functional disciplines (i.e. cow physiology, electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, hydraulics, PCs, and networking).

Additional Requirements

Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a wide variety of tasks under demanding conditions. Provides consultation on complex projects and is considered to be a significant, contributor/specialist to the development and success of BouMatic products and the company. The challenge is to optimize the machines down to the smallest detail so that they run optimally and reliably.

Communication Skills

Requires the ability to persuade, deal with, or influence people in various types of positions, inside or outside the company on matters of considerable importance to the company's operations, reputation, or relationships.

Fluent in english, language skills in French and German is a plus.

The work typically involves projects and/or assignments wherein the incumbent has considerable decision-making authority regarding procedures, plans, schedules and project management.
