The BVS employs an efficient process:

- The tank's inlet is kept free from air blockage by the accumulation of slurry.
- Through a vacuum pump, the tank maintains low pressure, enabling slurry suction and storage.
- The BVS effortlessly navigates through the barn alleys, allowing for easy and swift tank emptying.
- At its charging point, the vacuum pump reverses, expelling the slurry from the reservoir.
An important feature of the BVS is that it contains an integrated irrigation system which moistures the soil and breaks down hard deposits. On top of that, the flushing system simplifies reservoir cleaning, resulting in substantial time savings for maintenance.

Crafted entirely from painted stainless steel, the BVS boasts unparalleled protection and corrosion resistance. Its rounded design facilitates 360° rotation, reducing the need for complex manoeuvres at building ends.
The BVS is equipped with a high-capacity lithium battery, delivering up to 15 hours of daily operation. Besides, the robot charges it’s battery and it’s water reservoir when it is emptying the slurry at its emptying station. This double action optimizes the energy consumption of the BVS.
Plug and play installation, remote control
To ensure optimal remote access, a comprehensive Wi-Fi coverage throughout the building is a prerequisite for installation. The BVS relies on a laser guidance system for autonomous navigation, eliminating the need for any floor fixtures. During initial setup, an accredited BouMatic operator creates a virtual map, allowing the robot to operate freely
within its designated area. Users can easily customize scraping frequencies from a PC or smartphone. A remote control is included for manual mode movements, and alarms are relayed via email and/or SMS for convenient remote resolution. A dedicated 24/7 customer service is available for remote interventions.
Promoting cow health and better milking
Maintaining a cleaner barn floor prevents cows from standing in manure, leading to cleaner resting boxes and udders. This heightened level of cleanliness reduces the risk of udder infections, ultimately minimizing pre-milking teat cleaning.
