Lead the reengineering and automation of cross functional process across the European enterprise
(1 FTE)
As Process Excellence & Automation Manager, you will drive operational excellence through process reengineering, workflow automation, and intelligent use of technology. You will eliminate manual, offline, and inconsistent ways of working—replacing them with standardized, automated, and data‑driven workflows that scale.
You’ll lead cross‑functional projects that improve efficiency, enhance customer experience, and deliver measurable business results. Your first assignment will focus on transforming Customer Service in Europe —reengineering order fulfillment workflows, implementing automation, and establishing performance standards. Over time, you’ll expand to lead process excellence initiatives across multiple departments and regions.
What will you do?
Process Reengineering & Waste Elimination
- Map current-state processes to identify waste, inconsistency, and manual workarounds across business functions.
- Lead reengineering efforts that digitize and standardize work—not just improve existing methods.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies to drive sustainable operational improvements.
Workflow Automation & Digitization
- Identify high-value automation opportunities across the enterprise.
- Design and implement workflow automation using Power Automate, Power Apps, or similar tools.
- Evaluate and deploy AI/ML solutions for repetitive tasks, exception handling, and decision support.
- Integrate systems to eliminate manual data entry and reduce handoff errors.
Systems & Technology
- Leverage deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365 F&O) to optimize workflows and ensure data integrity.
- Utilize the Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) to build analytics, automate workflows, and create user-facing applications.
- Evaluate emerging AI tools for process automation, document processing, and decision support.
Customer Service Transformation (Initial Assignment)
- Lead a process transformation engagement with the European Customer Service team.
- Reengineer order fulfillment workflows to improve speed, accuracy, and customer experience.
- Implement automation and establish performance standards.
- Transition operational leadership back to the business once transformation is complete.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Define KPIs and build dashboards to monitor process performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Use analytics to prioritize automation investments based on ROI and impact.
- Report results and recommendations to senior leadership.
Change Management & Culture
- Act as a change agent, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and digital adoption.
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and other functions to deliver strategic projects.
- Train and coach teams on new processes, tools, and ways of working.
What do you bring?
- 5+ years in process improvement, operational excellence, or business transformation roles.
- Proven experience automating business processes (Power Automate, RPA tools, or equivalent).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations (or similar ERP).
- Proficiency with Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent CI certification.
- Experience leading cross‑functional projects in manufacturing, distribution, or service environments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
And preferably:
- Experience with AI/ML applications in business process automation (e.g., intelligent document processing, chatbots, predictive analytics).
- Background in Customer Service, Order‑to‑Cash, or Supply Chain process optimization.
- Familiarity with change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR).
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- Experience working in multi‑site and international environments.
- SQL or Python skills for data analysis and automation scripting.
