This is the ultimate in rotary milking systems. Built for continuous, around-the-clock milking, the Xcalibur 360EX is ruggedly built and precision engineered to deliver unrivalled throughput and maximum efficiency for the dairy operation.
It’s drive system, central pivot and swivel, nylon rollers and massive double I-beam drive rail are the roughest and most reliable in the business. A contemporary, robust design and rugged construction give the Xcalibur 360Ex lasting durability and value.
This rotary, available in a basement version from 40 to 110 stalls and non-basement version from 32 and 40 stalls, is ideal for commercial farms with herds from 1200 to 4000 cows and beyond.
BouMatic rotaries have always been highly regarded for their quality, comfort, and reliability. We have the best undercarriage and drive system in the industry and those still stand in our new model. Our double I-beam design with support plate and nylon rollers lasts 15 years with very low maintenance. Even with sand bedding you will find reduced wear in this design.
The Xcalibur™ 360EX electric drive system delivers smooth, dependable performance. A full-color touch screen interface provides diagnostic data and status screens with ability to adjust speed by group. An on-board UPS backup power supply, transient voltage protection and redundant control is included. It operates 2-8 drive units (depending on platform size) on 240 and 480 volt, 3 phase with 50/60 hertz. Includes safeties for both operator and animals and uses an external braking resistor to quickly stop the platform.
We removed the cylinder from the cabinet and placed it in a closed tube with a front access panel. This design greatly improves cylinder serviceability, while allowing the cabinet size to be reduced.
Our cylinder is a modern rodless magnetically coupled pneumatic actuator. Without pulleys and pins the cylinder has fewer wear components. It also is not susceptible to the same environmental variables that can damage a standard vacuum or air actuated cylinder.
The rope and chain guides are positioned to promote unit alignment and hose support usage. The guide keeps the cluster and hose away from the jetter tray.
At one meter in height this aids in a comfortable spacing for the cow.
A new compact, modern appearance, slightly slimmer and more compact. The additional space is user and technician friendly and provides a better view of milking. The smaller automation panel is correctly positioned for operator comfort.
The rotary skirt has moved inward giving more space under the outer curb. Again, with ease of service in mind, now accessing jetters, hoses, air lines and automation becomes nearly hassle-free.
The drives have been relocated to the inside of the I-Beam and closer to the center of the rotary resulting in easier installation and servicing for the drives. The design provides unrestricted access to the underside of the platform. The receiver and milk lines have also moved inward for easier meter maintenance.
Rotary available in deck sizes of 40-, 50-, 60-, 72-, 80-, 90-, 100-, 110-, 120-,130-,140-, and 150-stalls.
