Looking for candidates who are interested in working on, and learning more about, mechanical prototyping of Dairy equipment.

Skills & Experience

Below are skills we are interested in. Candidates need not have all of these skills (and likely won’t). Depending on the type of project, the candidate will also be able to learn and gain experience in the following areas:

  • Hand tools and basic hardware assembly
  • Basic metal fabrication, welding, drilling
  • CAD experience (SolidWorks)
  • Pneumatics (solenoids, air cylinders)
  • Design and execution of tests for environmental suitability and longevity of equipment.
  • Documentation and the ability to organize and present data (Word, excel, etc.)
  • May occasionally need to travel to farms for prototype testing and evaluation. Should be comfortable in the farm environment.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Dairy industry and equipment/ Farm background
  • Electrical and/or electronic experience is a plus

  • Prototype equipment Design and Troubleshooting
  • Test equipment Design and Troubleshooting
  • Occasional assistance with production equipment issues and questions.
  • Documentation (Manuals, test documents, etc.)
