The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD) has announced a new pilot incentive program to increase the installation of electric feed mixing equipment at Valley dairies, including BouMatic automatic feed pushers. The program is designed to reduce diesel emissions from tractors and other mobile equipment and vehicles.
The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD) has announced a new pilot incentive program to increase the installation of electric feed mixing equipment at Valley dairies, including BouMatic automatic feed pushers. The program is designed to reduce diesel emissions from tractors and other mobile equipment and vehicles.
This program will provide an incentive in the amount of 75% of the total cost of eligible equipment and infrastructure, up to a maximum cost effectiveness of $30,000 per ton of emissions reduced. The total incentive is a sum of the following 3 components: mobile off-road tractors, mobile on-road trucks, and infrastructure and new electric equipment.

Eligible entities are dairies and other confined animal facility operation (CAFO’s). Projects will be selected for funding on a first come, first served basis as determined by the application complete date.
