Job description
Position Summary Key responsibilities include: · Lead supplier negotiations to achieve cost, quality, and delivery targets aligned with company objectives · Drive cost reduction initiatives, including supplier consolidation · Manage supplier relationships and performance, including scorecards and corrective actions · Execute domestic and international procurement activities · Partner with Operations, Sales, and Product Management to support production requirements, forecast demand, and manage inventory levels · Analyze and manage inventory strategies to balance service and cost · Resolve commercial and operational issues with suppliers
Technical / Job Skill Qualifications
Candidate must meet the following qualifications, and have demonstrated the following technical or job skills:
· A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience; minimum of five years’ experience required
· Proven record of cost savings and negotiation management
· Demonstrated effective analytical and project management skills
· Demonstrated strong communication skills and ability to deal effectively with all levels of the organization
· Substantial experience working with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O preferred)
