Leveraging more than 80 years of dairy science leadership, BouMatic is the right choice for today’s dairies. This position fills two critical roles for the organization. SEO – Search Engine Optimization Specialist CI – Customer Insights Data Analyst. The role of SEO Specialist is to constantly improve the search engine results for BouMatic. This important role supports short and long-term business goals by driving brand recognition through a continuous cycle of analyzing, reviewing, and implementing changes to BouMatic websites so they are optimized for search engines. This individual will also play a pivotal role in the successful implementation of BouMatic’s social media campaigns across the various platforms. In addition to those responsibilities, this position includes the role of Customer Insights Data Analyst – a critical role that will maximize the impact of marketing efforts. In this role, the individual will lead efforts to collect and mine data for the purposes of developing and supporting targeted marketing campaigns. The individual will be part of the team using a powerful suite of marketing software tools and resources to segment customers and link them to customer journeys.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

SEO Specialist – analyze the current situation and performance of BouMatic’s web presence, work with the Director to set improvement targets, develop and implement an improvement strategy to meet/exceed those targets. This is considered to be a continuous and ongoing effort.

CI Data Analyst – collect data from lists and databases to use with the Microsoft Customer Insights tool, learn and use the Microsoft Customer Insights tool and associated AI engine to prepare and analyze the data with the intent to identify customer segments to link with targeted marketing campaigns. Work in concert with the Microsoft Marketing Application Specialist to build winning marketing campaigns.

Tasks and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Develop optimization strategies that increase the BouMatic’s search engine results rankings

Research SEO keywords to use throughout corporate website and marketing materials

Set measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in marketing efforts

Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance

Efficiently communicate with other marketing professionals to align goals

Collaborate with others within the marketing department to manage SEO strategy

Write compelling and high-quality website content, including blog posts and page descriptions

Update content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine rankings

Manage data collection and analysis in support of marketing efforts

Review all results for data accuracy

Relationships:

Physical & Environmental Requirements:

While performing duties of this job, individual is routinely required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or controls.

Must be capable of public speaking in support of training efforts.

Environmental requirements include working in corporate offices as well as on dairy farms – indoors, outdoors, in all seasons on dairies in and out of the US and Canada.

Occasional travel (less than 5%, valid passport required).

Technical/Job Skill Qualifications:

Qualified candidates must meet the following qualifications, and have demonstrated the following technical or job skills:

Two to five years of experience in successfully developing and executing SEO campaigns and in primary consumer / market research or data analytics

Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods

Experience with SEO industry programs, such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics and with predictive analytics, statistical modeling, and/or data visualization

Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools

Able to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the industry

Excellent written and verbal communication skills (email, phone, etc.)

Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data daily

Experience with other aspects of marketing, such as customer growth and promotion, is a plus

Detailed familiarity and comfort level with personal computers, and PC based applications such as the full suite of Microsoft applications, word processing, spreadsheets and databases, and other related equipment with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).

Ability to comfortably liaise with product managers, product designers, and marketers.

Strong attention to detail.

Previous experience or passion for technology and/or media.
