Job Statement This position is for a role with BouMatic’s innovative Engineering team reporting to the Rotary Technology Manager. This is a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities and Accountability
• Manage field installs of Rotary Milking Dairy systems. Proactively plan, prioritize and coordinate projects as needed, coordinate people, parts, and precision in the rotary installation and construction process.
• Act as lead on-site to assisting dealers in construction of Rotary Milking parlor and associated equipment. Note any missing parts or design changes and communicate info to appropriate team members.
• Ability to communicate with Dealers and customers on project status, resolve customer concerns/issues and prepare technical reports as needed.
• Help to validate Bills of Materials are correct for Sales orders.
• Ensure proper and timely documentation of safety certifications and technical files.
• >50% travel, typically for lengths of one to two weeks at a time.
Technical/Job Skill Qualifications
• Self-starter with the ability to conduct all business and personal affairs in a professional and ethical way.
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to deal effectively with all levels of the organization are a plus. Interpersonal and leadership skills are required.
• Technical or Engineering degree in Mechanical, Agricultural or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Must be comfortable in construction environments, have proficiency in reading construction diagrams, electrical schematics, piping diagrams, and other related documentation.
• Electrical wiring knowledge and basic understanding of AC and DC electrical circuits.
• Strong aptitude with hand and power tools and occasionally lift in excess of 50 pounds.
• Computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams etc.
