Job description

The Aftermarket Sales Manager is responsible for aggressively growing and supporting the sales, marketing and profit objectives of the company for BouMatic’s Aftermarket Product Lines within their designated territory. This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train Dealers and DSM’s in trouble-shooting activities related to milking systems and any chemical, hygiene, and consumable products and support the achievement of sales objectives
  • Technical training of DSM’s, Dealers (CSI) and in-house training at key dealers, as needed
  • Support local DSM’s as it relates to chemical, hygiene, and consumable products
  • Support DSM’s and Dealers during the sale, installation and commissioning of large commercial dairy projects
  • Develop Dealership marketing plans with territory DSM’s highlighting hygiene, chemical and scheduled service products and programs
  • Develop a professional relationship with key local industry influencers
  • Conduct all business and personal affairs in a professional and ethical way

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Be proficient in the use of CRM and submit reports in a timely manner, which includes Monthly Activity Plans and Agendas and weekly and daily reports
  • Process Expense Reports in a timely manner
  • Provide Sales and Marketing Plans
  • Participate and support Company training activities and trade shows
  • Maintain BouMatic tools and property and present yourself in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in sales preferably with a dealer network. Background in agriculture or chemicals is helpful.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience of 5-7 years required.
  • 60% travel required
