Job description

The Marketing Intern will be responsible for support and coordination of marketing materials, events, meetings as well as provide administrative support to the Marketing department. The Marketing Intern is a resourceful, self-starter who understands the importance of proactive and organized planning, communication, and execution.

Key Responsibilities and Accountability

1. Work to maintain BouMatic website and assist in development of new features. This includes website user permissions and responding to any contacts from public or dealers.

2. Responsible for maintaining translations for French Canadian and US Espanol websites.

3. Maintain all website documentation. All documentation that would be uploaded under the “My BouMatic”; Repair Parts Manuals, Ordering Forms, Calculators, Warranty Documents, SDS, etc.

4. Be a member of the social media team. Assist in scheduling of the social media posts and with responses to comments as needed.

5. Assist Marketing & Event Coordinator with meetings, shows and other events.

6. Assist with project support within the marketing communications department as needs arise.

Relationships

1. Reports to Marketing & Event Coordinator with interaction with Director, Marketing

2. Supports BouMatic Marketing efforts

3. Works with cross functional project teams (i.e. members from Sales, Product Management and Marketing)

4. Key relationships: Marketing Communications Team (US and Europe), Product Managers, Sales Team

Physical & Environmental Requirements

1. Physical requirements include sitting for long periods of time, extended computer use, hearing and seeing.

2. Environmental requirements include working indoors.

3. Moderate lifting and moving of items, particularly related to show set ups.

4. Minimal travel required.

Technical/Job Skill Qualifications

The candidates must meet the following qualifications, and have demonstrated the following technical or job skills:

1. Pursuing a bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Communications, or Agribusiness.

2. Demonstrated experience in working on inter-departmental teams toward a common goal met through collaboration.

3. Ability to demonstrate skills/aptitude in MS Office Suite of software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

4. Demonstrated strong organizational, multi-tasking, adaptability and communication skills, written and oral.

5. Ability to conduct all business and personal affairs in a professional and ethical manner.

6. Valid Wisconsin driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
