District Sales Manager (DSM) – US Central Region (IA, MN & WI) Reports to Regional Sales Manager.

Key responsibilities: The District Sales Manager is responsible for aggressively growing and supporting the sales, marketing and profit objectives of the Company, within their designated territory. To accomplish this, a district sales manager must:

  • Develop a comprehensive annual territory sales plan in alignment with the objectives of the Company, maximizing the Company’s product and service offering within their territory
  • Meet or exceed sales targets
  • Support Dealers during the sale, installation and commissioning of large commercial dairy projects
  • Develop individual dealer plans on how to grow the business
  • Upgrade poor performing dealers to meet the sales and business objectives
  • Develop a professional relationship with key local industry influencers
  • Conduct all business and personal affairs in a professional and ethical way

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Be proficient in the use of CRM and submit reports in a timely manner, which includes Monthly Activity Plans and Agendas and weekly & daily reports
  • Process Expense Reports in a timely manner
  • Provide Sales and Marketing Plans
  • Participate and support Company training activities and trade shows
  • Maintain BouMatic tools and property and present yourself in a professional manner


  • Experience in sales preferably with a dealer network. Background in agriculture or chemicals is helpful
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience of 5-7 years required
  • 60% travel required
