Milk cooling

BouMatic cooling systems are a fast and efficient solution for pre-cooling, cooling and maintaining the temperature of milk at all times. BouMatic is your supplier for products for cooling milk and cooling for robotic milking, such as milk pump controllers, pre-cooling systems, plate coolers, and chillers. These milk cooling systems, which cool milk and maintain it at the ideal temperature, are suitable for various milking systems. In addition to cooling systems, BouMatic supplies the Therma-Stor, a heat recovery system. The Therma-Stor captures the thermal energy released by cooling milk, then uses this energy to heat water.

Plate coolers

The BouMatic plate cooler or heat exchanger uses groundwater or chilled water to cool milk before it enters the bulk tank. Milk pump controller

BouMatic's Optiflo CF milk pump controller optimises the flow of milk through the plate cooler. This electric controller allows you to set different milk pump speeds, and guarantees a continuous and uniform flow of milk. The smooth, uniform flow of milk protects the product from slug flow, and safeguards the quality of your milk.

Chillers

BouMatic’s GlacierChill is a modular chiller designed to cool milk. It’s easy to add new modules to this flexible and inexpensive solution for cooling milk if milk yields increase.

The BouMatic ChillGuard was specially developed for dairy farmers. It’s the best milk cooling system in its class. The ChillGuard rapidly cools milk to the ideal temperature. The temperature of the milk is then constantly maintained at this temperature, regardless of the flow rate or type of cooling system.

Heat recovery system

When milk is cooled, the cooling system releases a lot of thermal energy. BouMatic's Therma-Stor heat recovery system captures this thermal energy, and uses it to heat water. This hot water is stored in the water storage tank until needed. Suitable for any milk cooling system.
