We are looking for a new Market Manager to join our European Marketing Team.

Market Manager Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage application of specific products to the dairy market
  • Manage marketing component of product development process
  • Understand market needs, use and acceptance of specific products
  • Gather/maintain market intelligence related to product(s)
  • Research and analyze end-user habits/opinions/needs/wants
  • Monitor competition (actions/response/counter-response)
  • Develop product comparisons with strategies and material for exploiting features, benefits and competitive advantages
  • Determine market need for new or updated products
  • Product pricing management to corporate margin guidelines
  • Develop ongoing marketing strategies for specific products
  • Manage available resources to best build/maintain market position
  • Coordinate Dealer-based promotional programs
  • Coordinate field launch activity for specific products
  • Dealer and Sales Support
  • Assist in product Sales and Dealer training programs
  • Develop product training programs
  • Analyze and develop product up-sell/cross-sell strategies
  • Coordinate sales material support for product(s)
  • Coordinate access to technical information
  • Support trade show activity

Skills

  • tri-lingual FR/ENG/GERM
  • A proven experience (at least 5 years) in a marketing/market/product management and/or sales management is required.
  • A previous relevant experience in a same/comparable position is a strong asset.
  • Experience in the agri-business and / or dairy business is also a strong asset.
