An essential tool for robotic farms

One of the items needed for the pre-installation work on a spray robot press will be the addition of cow positioners on the press deck.

ADVANTAGES AT A GLANCE

CORRECT COW POSITIONING

  • Correct cow positioning is of critical importance to the achievement of optimal cluster alignment. This in turn facilitates the good, clean milking out of all four quarters to maximize milk yield and maintain optimum udder health.

RETROFITS

  • The cow positioning device which is specifically designed for rotary milking parlors and is suitable both for installation on new rotaries and for retro-fitting to existing rotary systems.

MOUNTING PLATE

  • The system is supplied with a unique mounting plate which makes provision for a range of mounting options and includes an adjustment facility for accurate positioning. The body is then bolted to the mounting plate using the mounting set supplied.
  • The two mounting options we currently offer are for a Concrete platform with a 40mm bolt and for a Tiled platform with a 60mm bolt.

AERODYNAMIC SHAPE

  • The aerodynamic shape of the cow positioner has been specially designed to keep it free from slurry and make it easy to keep clean.

FOR USE WITH SPRAY ROBOT

  • Allows for the SR2 Spraying Robot to have better access to the udder for pre- and post-spray applications
